Writers Siddharth And Garima Reveal About The Next Bhansali Project

Scriptwriters Siddharth and Garima were recently interviewed regarding their next project with director Sanjay Leela Bhansali. The two scriptwriters have previously worked under the director in Bajirao Mastani and Ram Leela.  The scriptwriters hinted their next projected with the Saawariya director.

On being asked the reason for not working in Padmavati, Siddharth was quoted as saying, “Padmavati was a script which was already written by Sanjay sir some ten years back just like Bajirao Mastani. He further added, “Even with Bajirao, me and Garima have merely written the sequences between Deepika and Ranveer, and that too as a favour for sir since he’s our mentor”. Siddharth clarified, “With Padmavati, there was no scope for us since everything was all ready. The subject was in his mind since long”.

On being asked about the project titled as ‘Gustakhiyan’, the scriptwriter revealed that the director will only bankroll the project and will not be directing it. Siddharth and Garima further revealed that the script they are currently working on, will be definitely helmed by Bhansali. The scriptwriters closed their statement by revealing that they are currently scriptwriting a war genre movie.
