Will Varun Dhawan’s Judwaa 2 Resolve Alia Bhatt-Shraddha Kapoor Alleged Rift?

The sequel to Salman Khan’s action comedy, Judwaa (1997), is touted to be even more exciting than the first instalment. Produced by Sajid Nadiadwala, Judwaa 2 has been in the news since a couple of years. If recent reports are to be believed, the movie will star stunning Bollywood beauties Alia Bhatt and Shraddha Kapoor opposite Varun Dhawan, who will be seen playing a double role for the first time in his career.

It has been known that Alia and Shraddha were good friends earlier. However, a cold war was reported between the former BFFs when the Aashiqui 2 actress and Alia’s alleged beau Siddharth Malhotra came together for Ek Villain. Indeed, it would be very interesting to see the two much acclaimed actresses sharing screen space.

The movie will be helmed by Varun’s father David Dhawan, who had earlier directed his son in romantic action comedy, Main Tera Hero (2014). Earlier in an interview, the prolific filmaker stated that he agreed to do Judwaa 2 only for his son’s sake. R eportedly, the flick will start rolling after September.
