‘We Are Happy’: SRK About Salman Khan’s Verdict

While many aren’t approving of Salman Khan’s acquittal in the hit-and-run case, Bollywood celebrities and his fans are in celebration mode. Several actors such has Anupam Kher, Kabir Khan, Madhur Bhandarkar, Hema Malini and Madhuri Dixit amongst others have welcomed the decision, breathing the biggest sigh. Even his friend-turned-foe-turned-friend, Shah Rukh Khan, is happy with the decision of the Bombay High Court.

The Dilwale star has been quoted as saying, “At a personal level without getting into anything generic or bigger, he is our friend and colleague. I have known him for years now. So, if there is anything happening nice for him then we feel happy”.

He continued, “On that level yes. We are happy and in whichever way the judgement has gone is positive for him. So we feel happy for him”. The Chennai Express star also said that he hasn’t spoken to Salman as he has been busy with his work and added that he might visit him soon.
