Sidharth Malhotra: I have become more responsible after ‘Student of the Year’

The 29-year-old Sidharth reveals that he was under pressure for the upcoming venture Hasee Toh Phasee from business point of view, “After `Student of the Year` I have become more responsible, more aware about what is happening around. I guess I have improved as an actor, both in terms of quality and quantity, in terms of performance."
It was a new experience for Malhotra boy to work in Hasee Toh Phasee as it was quite different from a typical Karan Johar film. Sidharth mentions that the budget of the movie was limited and they had to shoot in a definite time period. The film also lacks expensive cars, “There was nothing like luxurious cars or anything. We used to pack up early, there were restrictions. I realised how spoilt I was in `Student of the Year`, but it was quite exciting." Coming on to the character, Sidharth is playing the role of Nikhil Bhardwaj, who is lost, unsuccessful and sentimental. Nikhil is under constant pressure and is not at all hero . The movie directed by Vinil Mathew and produced by Karan Johar and Anurag Kashyap, will have Parineeti Chopra in the female lead along with Adah Sharma.
