Salman Khan starrer Sultan’s first teaser is out

Yash Raj Films has officially announced that they have blocked Eid 2016 for their upcoming Salman Khan Starrer film Sultan. YRF made the announcement by releasing a 30-second teaser that takes audiences to the wrestling match. The released clipping has made the audiences even more excited and many of them have declared the film to be a blockbuster. Indeed, the marketing strategy, to release the first teaser of the film before the shooting of the film begins, has made its impact.

 The teaser includes excerpts of the commentator while Sultan is fighting a wrestling match for Haryana State Championship. The clip describes Salman’s character Sultan, as “Haryana ki shaan, Haryana ki jaan”.  In the background, the crowd is shouting ‘Sultan Sultan..’. Further the teaser quotes, “Wrestling is not a sport. It’s about fighting what lies within”.

The speculations suggest that the release date of Shah Rukh Khan’s Raees will clash with that of Sultan. However, Raees’ filmmakers haven’t made an officially announcement yet. Considering the budding friendship of the two stars, it is expected that the movies will have separate release dates. On the other hand, Aamir Khan’s Dangal, which is also based on wrestling is releasing on Christmas, next year. In that case, SRK Raees’ might release on Diwali.
