Saif Ali Khan signed up for Sajid Nadiadwala-Kabir Khan’s political thriller

For the first time, Bollywood biggies Saif Ali Khan, Sajid Nadiadwala and Kabir Khan are going to work together in a film, a yet-to-be-titled political thriller. It is said to be set in the backdrop of contemporary political scenario and will focus on certain lesser-known aspects ofsub-continental politics, though the producer has been unwilling to disclose much on the subject-matter.

The female lead of the film has not been decided yet, which will be shot in India, the Middle East, the US and Europe. Sajid, who is mostly known to have worked on purely commercial films, has planned to come out of his comfort zone as he has enough belief in the skills of the director. Sajid stated, "I have loved all the three films Kabir has done till now. And I have full confidence in him and I am going with his vision on this. Over and above all, I think the journey with him on this film will be interesting. That is most important to me."

Kabir has done extensive research work for the film to focus on every minute detail in relation to the intriguing subject-matter of the film. According to the director, Kabir Khan, "I have always found Saif to be an exciting actor who has the correct blend of being a credible performer and also having amazing star appeal. Sajid is someone I have always admired for his grand and larger than life productions. My association with him is interesting as it brings together my genre of cinema with his rich production values."
