Ranveer Singh To Don Rapper’s Role In Zoya Akhtar’s ‘Gully Boy’

While rappers including Badshah, Yo Yo Honey Singh and Raftaar are already giving tough competition to each other, it seems that there is new entry in the B-town. Tinsel town is abuzz with rumours that Ranveer Singh will be seen playing the role of a rapper in his upcoming film. To be helmed by Zoya Akhtar, the tentative title of the movie is ‘Gully Boy’.

Ranveer has rapped for an advertisement in the past and so it wouldn’t be a surprise if he croons for ‘Gully Boy’ as well. Rumours are further rife that the movie has been inspired from the real life story of renowned rappers Divine and Naezy. Other information pertaining to the film has been kept under wraps.

Zoya and Ranveer have previously worked together in ‘Dil Dhadakne Do’. The two B-town celebs have many times confessed that they are too fond of each other. With both of their craziness collaborating on the big screen again, the audiences are expecting a lot from this one.
