Britain’s Prince William And Kate To Attend Star-studded Fundraiser In Mumbai

Prince William and his wife Kate will be arriving in India this Sunday to attend a star-studded fundraiser. The event is likely to be attended by Shah Rukh Khan, Aamir Khan, Rishi Kapoor, Aishwarya Rai, Farhan Akhtar and master blaster Sachin Tendulkar. The fundraiser will be held at Taj Mahal Palace Hotel in Mumbai.

Reports suggest that the event will witness close to 200 eminent personalities from sports, films and business. The proceedings of the event will be donated to Magic Bus, Doorstep, and India's Childline, which support the underprivileged children of the country. The royal couple will also be meeting Prime Minister Narendra Modi over lunch on Tuesday.

The fundraising event will be organised by the British Asian Trust whose members include Syco executive Sonny Takhar.  The Syco executive said, "It would be remiss of them to go to India and not experience Bollywood culture because it's such an important part of the cultural fabric of the country”. He added that Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are going to have a fantastic experience.
