Pratyusha Banerjee Suicide: Rahul Raj Singh’s Bail Rejected!

TV actress Pratyusha Banerjee’s death left the nation in shock on March 31^st. And as per the statements given by her near and dear ones, disturbance in her relationship with her boyfriend Rahul Raj Singh was the reason that made her take such an extreme step.

Rahul Shingh was booked for abetment of suicide by Mumbai Police on 5^th April and his lawyer Neeraj Gupta withdrew from his case on 6^th April saying Rahul hid crucial details about the case and he was “kept in dark”. Gupta said, "I withdrew from the case on humanitarian grounds. I felt that I shouldn't be fighting the case, and hence left it be so that injustice is not done to anyone,"

However, Advocate Ashok Sarogi took over the case and filed for Rahul’s anticipatory bail plea on 6^th April at Dindoshi sessions court. The recent development in the case suggests that the plea has been rejected by Mumbai Police.

Actor producer Rahul Raj Singh is booked under IPC sections 306 (abetment of suicide), 504, 506 (criminal intimidation) and 323 (voluntarily causing hurt).
