Kunal Kapoor To Play A Superhero In A Show

Actor Kunal Kapoor has bagged the role of a superhero in a new project. He will portray the titular character in his new show ‘Doga’. The show will be based on the indigenous superhero created by Raj Comics in 1992. Kunal, who is comic lover, cannot hold his excitement of landing an opportunity to play vigilante anti-hero.

"I have dreamt of playing 'Doga' for long, and I'm happy that the project is finally taking shape. Dark, angry and built like a beast, he is the ultimate badass. I will have to train in martial arts to prepare for my role. It's going to be a huge responsibility, but I'm ready for it,” said a thrilled Kunal

Apart from Doga, Raj Comics is known for creating other popular characters such as 'Nagra'j, 'Super Commando Dhruv' and 'Bheriya'. “This is a very ambitious project and we are recruiting some of the best minds and creative talent to collaborate on it,” said Manish Gupta from Raj Comics. Apart from ‘Doga’, Kunal has Tigmanshu Dhulia's 'Raagdesh' and Reema Kagti's’ Gold in his kitty. He was lauded for his performance in the Malayalam movie 'Veeram'.
