I Do See Friends In The Film Fraternity: Shahid Kapoor
Updated : August 10, 2016 09:47 AM IST Though, it’s evident in part that relationships in film industry are quite momentary, there is no denying that few Bollywood buddies manage to stand the test of time. Recently, actor and father-to-be Shahid Kapoor shared his views about the odds of long-lasting B-town friendships. The Udta Punjab actor says that he does see friends in the film fraternity.
“I do see friends in the film fraternity”, Shahid stated, adding, “But I see a lot of people who are friends in the film fraternity have grown up together and got into movies together, and these people are a part of film families. So they've always been in the same circles. These guys have known each other before films. Some of them were assistants on the same movie, some of their parents were directors or actors and therefore they would do dinners together. So everybody knows everybody and that's a huge advantage for people who come from mainstream film families because since childhood you get so much exposure and it also becomes very easy for you to get access”.
Well said, Shahid! Now that’s an honest opinion. And when we talk about Bollywood bonds, we just can’t miss out on the connection between Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan. The two best friends of B-town had turned foes when King Khan got into an ugly fight with the Sultan actor at Katrina Kaif's birthday bash in 2008. But, their current friendship status is all in front of everyone; they had been and are friends.
