Alia Bhatt Doesn’t Want To Don Director’s Hat

Bollywood’s sweetheart Alia Bhatt believes that directing movies is not her cup of tea. The damsel stunned movie buffs by playing Shanaya in her first flick, ‘Student of the Year’ and has become everyone’s favourite since then. It’s no secret that her skills are not confined to acting as the stylish young diva has also lent her voice for songs such as ‘Samjhawan’, ‘Sooha Saaha’ and ‘Ikk Kudi'. But, something makes the multi-talented actress to not want to don a director’s hat.

“Maybe I can produce (films) one day, but I don't think I can ever be a director because being a director takes a lot”, Alia told IANS over phone from Mumbai, adding, “I don't think I have that capability”. The Highway actress also revealed, “While making the film no advice comes from my parents. All advice comes from my director”.

Alia will soon be seen sharing the screen space with Shah Rukh Khan in Gauri Shinde's upcoming ‘Dear Zindagi’. The romantic drama also stars Ali Zafar, Aditya Roy Kapoor, Kunal Kapoor and Angad Bedi. Scheduled for release on November 25, the movie has been produced by Gauri Khan, Karan Johar and R. Balakrishnan.
