Aishwarya Rai Back In Ram Madhvani’s Next?

SpotboyE has reported that Aishwarya Rai Bachchan might join Ram Madhvani’s next after all. The filmmaker was preparing to develop a film based on a Dutch TV series titled ‘Penoza’ and wanted to cast Aishwarya as the leading lady. Due to scheduling issues, the actress had to walk out of the project, which lead the filmmaker towards Kajol.

Now, it has been reported that Kajol has turned down the project which has caused some delays. These delays seem to have worked in Madhvani’s favour as he might be able to get the Sarbjit actress on board now. A source revealed that the director is “very enthu about making the ‘Penoza’ adaptation with Ash”.

The Dutch TV series focuses on a woman who is running from her husband’s murderer. She faces extreme hardships as she tries to protect her children from the crime filled world. Aishwarya will surely be able to give the character the necessary depth it demands.
