Producer Archana Kalpathi remains cautiously optimistic about the box office potential of her latest production, The Greatest of All Time, starring Thalapathy Vijay. Directed by Venkat Prabhu, this film marks the first collaboration between the actor and director, heightening anticipation among fans and industry insiders alike.

With advance ticket sales already nearing Rs 100 crore, all eyes are on the opening day figures, with speculation about whether the film can surpass the Rs 150 crore mark and become the biggest opener of Vijay's career.

However, Archana Kalpathi emphasizes that the true measure of success lies beyond just the opening-day numbers. “Naturally, it will do more than Rs 100 crore on opening day. That is Vijay sir's market,” she told senior film journalist Sreedhar Pillai. But she also pointed out that reaching the Rs 150 crore milestone depends significantly on securing national multiplexes, which have been challenging due to a boycott from national chains.

More than focusing on the opening day, Archana expressed her hopes for the film to have a sustained run at the box office. "If this film hits its true potential, and the audience appreciates the film the way we intended, this will have a very steady long run, and those numbers will be massive," she added.

Despite the absence of national multiplexes, Archana revealed that she has managed to secure an impressive 5000 screens for the movie's release. "We have given it the maximum showcasing. Now it all depends on how the film will perform," she remarked.

Archana also hinted at the film's genre, describing it as a much-needed action entertainer. “It has the potential to become the biggest earner in Tamil Nadu. We have tried something; it's an action entertainer. It's been a while since we had a pakka action entertainer," she said.
