Ranbir Kapoor Brahmastra
Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt starrer Brahmastra is Bollywood’s next big hope for a box office win and after being five years in the making, the film is finally all set to arrive in cinemas on Friday. The lives of everyone involved in the project changed drastically during the period of its making and so has the environment and outlook of the audience towards big films.
In the national capital to promote Brahmastra ahead of its release, Ranbir Kapoor candidly confessed during a press conference that he had to hide from his family and friends the fact that he was still shooting Brahmastra, at one point. Ranbir said, “Ye film itne saalon se chal rahi hai, I remember when my father was alive, all my friends main jhooth bolta tha ki main abhi tak Brahmastra ki shooting kar raha hoon. Main kehta tha abhi kisi aur film ki shooting kar raha hoon because no body really understands what it takes, because nobody has really done this in people that we know.”
Ranbir went on to heap praises on Aayan vision as the director and further said that he’d probably not get another opportunity like this in the future.
Brahmastra marks the beginning of the ‘Astraverse’ in Bollywood and Ranbir and Alia’s film is only part one in what is supposed to be a trilogy. The movie also stars Amitabh Bachchan, Nagarjuna and Mouni Roy in key roles while Shah Rukh Khan has a cameo appearance.
