During promotions for his film The Greatest of All Time, Vaibhav recounted how Vijay chose to watch Telugu superstar Prabhas' Salaar Part 1 at a local Hyderabad theatre. Rather than opting for a private screening or the comfort of a luxury theatre, Vijay wanted to experience the film among fans, sitting in the lower rows to immerse himself fully in the audience's excitement and celebrations.

Fans who recognized him respected his privacy and refrained from drawing attention to his presence.

Vaibhav also shared that when he first saw the tickets, he thought there had been a mistake. He never imagined that Vijay, with his reach and influence, would prefer to watch a movie with the general public rather than arrange a private screening at a place of his convenience. Vaibhav mentioned that he declined the offer to accompany Vijay to the Hyderabad theatre, fearing a stampede-like situation if the public discovered the star’s presence.
