'What happened to the movie title': Shahid Kapoor-Kriti Sanon's Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya gets release date, netizens react

Ever since Shahid Kapoor and Kriti Sanon announced their first collaboration with a poster, fans were eagerly waiting for an update. Finally, the actors have dropped the title of their ‘impossible love story” as well as the release date. The film is titled Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya which is the lyrics of artist Raghav’s song. The announcement motion poster sees Shahid and Kriti embracing each other. 

Taking to Instagram, Shahid shared the motion poster with the song playing in the background. “This Valentine’s week, experience an impossible love story! #TeriBaatonMeinAisaUljhaJiya in cinemas 9th February, 2024,” he captioned the post. Soon after, netizens rushed to the comment section to share their reactions. A section of people were disappointed about the movie’s title. “Didn’t liked the title, should have been better and catchy,” said a user. “The title is an indication that this will be a flop.” said the second user. “Hindi Serial jaisa title rakhna shuru kar diya tum logon ne ab toh,” reacted the third user. Another uiser joked, “Yeh title hai ki yeh movie ki script hai.”

While the makers have kept the film’s plot under wraps, it is speculated that it revolves around a clumsy young man discovering his soulmate in a distant future, navigating through a series of comical errors and challenges to win her heart.The film will see Kriti, portraying the robot, who develops emotions for Shahid's human character as per reports. The film also features Dharmendra and Dimple Kapadia in pivotal roles. Directed by Amit Joshi and Aradhana Sah, the film is backed by Dinesh Vijan’s Maddock Films and is set to arrive in theatres on February 9, 2024.

Meanwhile, Kriti was seen Shehzada, Adipurush and Ganapath last year. On the other hand, Shahid was seen in the web show Farzi and the film Bloody Daddy.
