VS13: Vishwak Sen's action film is officially launched | Check out puja pics

Telugu actor Vishwak Sen recently announced that he would be donning a cop avatar for the first time in his upcoming film VS 13 (tentative title). Today, the makers officially kicked off the project with an auspicious puja ceremony in Hyderabad.

The announcement was made on their social media pages, along with snapshots from the launch ceremony. “#VS13 - @SLVCinemasOffl Production No.8 begins with an auspicious pooja ceremony. Starring MASS KA DAS @VishwakSenActor #Sampaada. Written and directed by #SreedharGanta. Shoot begins soon!” the makers wrote. 

Kannada actress Sampaada is set to play Vishwak Sen’s love interest in this film, directed by Sreedhar Ganta. Other cast and crew details are yet to be revealed. According to the producers, shooting will begin in September.

When the project was announced earlier, an intriguing poster was released, featuring Vishwak Sen as an IPS officer tasked with controlling a riot. Although the makers have not revealed much about the film, it is speculated that the storyline unfolds in a rural setting, and the tagline "Every Action Fires A Reaction" hints at intense plot developments. The film seems to be an engaging and gripping action drama, but it's too soon to speculate until official updates are provided.

Vishwak Sen’s other projects

Meanwhile, Vishwak Sen has several upcoming projects, including the action-comedy drama Mechanic Rocky, which stars Shraddha Srinath and Meenakshi Chaudhary as the female leads. The film is scheduled for a grand release on October 31, 2024. 

Additionally, Vishwak had earlier announced another project titled Laila, set for release on February 14, 2025. Directed by Ram Narayan of Battala Ramaswamy Biopikku fame, Laila will feature the Telugu star in a unique role as a woman. The first-look poster for the film has already been released, and more details are expected to follow soon. 

Unfortunately, Vishwak's last two films, Gaami and Gangs of Godavari, failed to work wonders at the box office. The actor now aims to bounce back on track with his upcoming projects.
