    The intriguing first-look poster of Chiranjeevi, from his upcoming fantasy action spectacle Vishwambhara, has just dropped.

    On the special occasion of the Telugu megastar Chiranjeevi’s birthday, the makers of his upcoming sci-fi spectacle Vishwambhara unveiled the first-look poster of the actor from the film. The makers took to their social media handles to share the new poster and wrote, “When darkness and evil take over the world, a MAGNANIMOUS STAR shall shine bright to fight. Happy birthday, MEGASTAR @KChiruTweets. Let the world witness your aura with #Vishwambhara. Get ready for a MEGA MASS BEYOND UNIVERSE. In cinemas from January 10th, 2025.”

    The new poster features the actor holding a trishul (weapon) and kneeling on top of a massive rock, with golden light radiating from its cracks. Behind the actor, a circular golden light is seen and it appears to be channeling energy to the trident he holds. Although the poster exudes the of vibes Ranbir Kapoor-starrer Bollywood film Brahmastra, we may have to wait and see what this visual spectacle is all about. Brahmastra: Part One – Shiva, directed by Ayan Mukerji, was a 2022 Hindi fantasy film. Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt and Amitabh Bachchan played the lead roles.

    Along with the poster, the makers also confirmed that Vishwambhara will have a grand theatrical release on January 10, 2024, during the Sankranti festival.

    As announced earlier, Trisha will be playing the female lead in Vishwambhara, which is directed by Mallidi Vassishta. She has been paired with Chiranjeevi in the movie. In addition to her, Mrunal Thakur, Ashika Ranganath, and Meenakshi Chaudhary have also been cast in pivotal roles. The film also stars Ramya Pasupaleti, Esha Chawla, and Ashrita Vemuganti Nanduri in key roles.

    Writer Sai Madhav Burra, known for his work on Chiranjeevi's films like Khaidi No 150 and Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy, has penned the screenplay for Vishwambhara, a fantasy flick. This marks the third collaboration between Burra and Chiranjeevi. Sources reveal that a significant budget has been allocated for extensive graphics work. Academy Award-winning composer MM Keeravani is teaming up with lyricist Sirivennela Seetharama Sastry for the film's songs. Chota Naidu is in charge of cinematography, promising a visually stunning experience.
