Filmmaker Venkat Prabhu has started the promotion of The Greatest Of All Time. During a recent interaction with fans, Venkat promised that the movie will not just satisfy fans of Thalapathy Vijay, but also exceed the expectations of all movie-goers.

"The Greatest Of All Time will be the biggest film in my career. I think that I have done justice to it. This movie will exceed the expectations of both fans of Vijay and general audiences," he said.

Venkat also revealed that in a few days, the filmmakers have planned to unveil a new song. "It's an awesome song," he said.

The movie's music album has so far garnered mixed reactions, and the general reception for the songs has been pretty underwhelming. Considering this is the first time composer Yuvan Shankar Raja is scoring for a Thalapathy Vijay movie, expectations were sky-high. However, the three singles that were released from the album, including a party anthem, a melody, and a duet number, have failed to impress audiences. Even fans found it difficult to defend the movie against the growing crisis.

Can the upcoming dance number make up for the bad publicity of the previous three songs? Only time will tell.

With just two weeks before the release, the filmmakers have not yet announced their plans to hold an audio launch event for The Greatest of All Time. It's one of the important on-ground promotions for Vijay movies. Given that Vijay does not give interviews to the media, the audio release events were the only place where fans used to get an opportunity to see him talk about his movies and share his experiences. But, it seems that the filmmakers are likely to give the pre-release event a miss, and directly hold a success event as producers of Vijay's Leo did last year.
