Veera Simha Reddy Twitter reactions: while trolls are having a field day, Balakrishna fans call the movie a hit

Nandamuri Balakrishna 's latest mass masala entertainer ' Veera Simha Reddy ' has hit theaters today and hardcore fans of the actor are calling the movie a blockbuster, his trolls, on the other hand, are grateful for all new content.

The internet has always been divided between Balakrishnan from those who love his over-the-top mass movies where he plays larger-the-life characters and those who just can't help but laugh out loud at his antics.

Veera Simha Reddy is directed by Gopichand Malineni marking the director's first collaboration with Balakrishna. The movie is also the Telugu debut of Kannada action star Duniya Vijay.

Duniya Vijay will be playing the role of Musali Madugu Pratap Reddy, and actress Shruti Hassan will be playing the female lead Sandhya, marking the first on-screen pairing with Balakrsihan and Shruti Hassan.

The movie also marks the Telugu debut of Malayalam actress Honeyrose who will be playing the role of Deepthi.

The movie is produced by Naveen Yerneni Y. and Ravi Shankar under the banner Mythri Movie Makers. The editing of the movie is being handled by Naveen Nooli with Rishi Punjabi handling the cinematographer.

The cast of the movie includes Nandamuri Balakrishna, Duniya Vijay, Lal, Shruti Hassan, Varalaxmi Sarathkumar, and Honey Rose.

Veera Simha Reddy has already collected a total of 73 crores in pre-release business. The movie is produced by Naveen Yerneni Y. Ravi Shankar under the banner Mythri Movie Makers.

The movie was officially announced on June 2021 with the working title NBK107, with a massive budget of 110 crores.

Veera Simha Reddy is facing stiff competition at the box office from Vijay's Varisu, Ajith's Thunivu, and finally, Chiranjeevi's Waltair Veerayya, which will be hitting theaters worldwide tomorrow.

It remains to be seen which movie will end up taking the number-one spot at the box office and emerge as the first superhit movie of 2023.
