Veera Dheera Sooran: Vikram-led film locks teaser release date
Directed by SU Arun Kumar, the upcoming film stars Vikram and SJ Suryah in key roles.

An exciting update is here! The makers of Vikram and Chithha fame filmmaker S.U. Arun Kumar’s upcoming film, Veera Dheera Sooran, have announced that the much-awaited teaser of the film will be released on December 9, 2024.

The announcement was accompanied by a brand-new poster revealing the fearless Vikram, aka Kaali, standing tall and holding a Sten gun.
Veera Dheera Sooran release plans
Earlier reports suggested that the Vikram-starring Veera Dheera Sooran was initially planned for a Pongal 2025 release. However, the latest speculation indicates the film might skip the festival window. Reportedly, the makers are now eyeing a release in the final week of January.
An official confirmation is yet to be made. If the reports hold true, this shift could prove advantageous for other films like Vidaa Muyarchi, Vanangaan, and Game Changer at the Kollywood box office.

Veera Dheera Sooran stars Chiyaan Vikram as a fearless gangster named Kaali. According to the title teaser, Kaali runs a supermarket but is a feared man in his locality. Directed by S.U. Arun Kumar of Chithha fame, the film features S.J. Suryah as the antagonist, A. Arunagiri.
The cast also includes Malayalam actors Suraj Venjaramoodu and Siddique in pivotal roles. Produced by Riya Shibu under the HR Pictures banner, the film's technical crew boasts GV Prakash Kumar as the composer, Theni Eswar as the cinematographer, and Prasanna GK as the editor.
The makers have already wrapped up shooting, and the film is currently in post-production. Veera Dheera Sooran is expected to be released in two installments, with the first being referred to as Part 2.
