The makers of Bala and Arun Vijay’s highly anticipated action drama Vanangaan have finally revealed the release date of the film. Sharing the exciting update, the makers announced that the upcoming drama is set to release on January 10, 2025, during the Pongal festival.
To accompany the announcement, the makers unveiled a video revealing the release date. They wrote, “As fierce as a storm, 💥🔥 @arunvijayno1’s #Vanangaan is arriving on screens near you this Pongal, 10.01.25.”

Meanwhile, the makers of Ajith Kumar and filmmaker Magizh Thirumeni’s upcoming road action thriller Vidaamuyarchi are also eyeing a Pongal 2025 release. It looks like Arun Vijay’s Vanangaan is set to clash with the former during the festive season.

Besides Arun Vijay, the film also features Mysskin, Roshni Prakash, and Samuthirakani in pivotal roles. GV Prakash Kumar has composed the original background score and soundtracks, while Sathish Suriya has handled the editing. The film is jointly produced by Suresh Kamatchi’s V House Productions and Bala’s B Studios.
