    About Vaadi Vaasal

Helmed by Vetrimaaran, this upcoming Tamil rural drama marks the first collaboration between Suriya and the celebrated filmmaker. The movie is reportedly an adaptation of C.S. Chellappa’s Tamil novel of the same title. In a recent interview, Vetrimaaran shared that Suriya has been raising a bull at his home as part of his preparation to embody the character. Additionally, he is expected to showcase two distinct looks in the film and is rumored to be playing dual roles.

The film, headlined by Suriya, will also feature director-turned-actor Ameer Sultan in a pivotal role, with reports suggesting that he might play the primary antagonist. Actress Andrea Jeremiah has been roped in as the female lead, teaming up with the filmmaker again after Vada Chennai. On the technical front, the original background score and soundtracks will be composed by G.V. Prakash Kumar, while Kalaipuli S. Thanu is producing it under the V Creations banner.
