Ulajh trailer: Janhvi Kapoor stuns as a high-profile diplomat in the edge-of-the-seat thriller

A few days ago, the stunning Janhvi Kapoor took to social media and shared an extremely intriguing teaser of her most awaited film Ulajh. The mere teaser of the film had the expectations of the audiences soar sky high regarding the film. Today, the actress took to social media and shared the intriguing trailer of the film.

The trailer starts with an insight into the professional life of Janhvi Kapoor’s character, who gets posted in London, but gets entangled in a personal dilemma. The trailer begins with Janhvi Kapoor interacting with the foreign delegates as a part of her job. This is followed by a voice which states ‘Suhana mam (her character’s name in the film), what do you feel?’

This, then, gets continued with ‘Whatever you have done, have you done it for the country?’ Betrayal, loyalty are mere words, which have been formed to trap people like us. The nations and the borders are mere lines which have been drawn on the sand and that they cost nothing’.

This is then followed by a close up of Janhvi Kapoor with a voice that states, ‘The price that one pays for betrayal is through one’s life… either by giving your life or by taking another person’s life. This is then followed by a series of incidents which really shake up the scenario for Janhvi Kapoor’s character in the film. The trailer also seems to have a question mark on Suhana’s privilege, who is seen busy battling against the dreaded nepotism!

All in all, Janhvi Kapoor’s character in the film comes across as someone who is extremely strong and confident, but is bound by the ‘parameters’ of the law. As for the film, besides Janhvi Kapoor it also stars an ensemble cast comprising of the veteran actor Rajendra Gupta, Jitendra Joshi along with the multi-talented Meiyang Chang, Adil Hussain, and Rajesh Tailang.
