Trisha Krishnan rejoins the Shoot of Thalapathy Vijay's 'Leo' in Kashmir

The cast and crew of the highly anticipated Leo , the third installment in the Lokesh Cinematic Universe( LCU ) are filming Kashmir and according to a new report, Trisha has rejoined the shoot.

The actress has to step away from the shoot due t the severe weather conditions in Kashmir. Trisha will be playing the female lead in the movie.

Leo will see Vijay and Trisha reunite after a gap of 15 years, their last movie together was the 2008 action movie Kuruvi.

This movie will also mark their fifth collaboration after Ghilli, Thirupaachi, Aathi, and Kuruvi, three of which have been massive box-office successes.

There has been a lot of speculation about the plot of the movie and there is a rumor that the movie has a similar plot to the 2005 Hollywood action movie 'A History of Violence'.

In which a family man is forced to confront this violent past after he encounters someone from his old life as a gangster.

The movie is produced by S. S. Lalit Kumar and Jagadish Palanisamy under the banner Seven Screen Studio.

The cinematography will be handled by Manoj Paramahamsa. The movie will be edited by Philomin Raj who worked on the previous entries of the Lokesh Cinematic Universe.

The full cast of the movie includes Vijay, Trisha, Arjun, Sanjay Dutt, Gautham Vasudev Menon, Mysskin, Mansoor Ali Khan, Priya Anand, Manobala, and Janany Kunaseelan.

While we do know the main cast of the movie, there is a strong possibility that the movie will have cameos from actors like Kamal Haasan, Suriya, Karthi, and Fahadh Faasil.

Meanhwile it has been announced that director Lokesh Kanagaraj will be working on Kaithi 2 after the release of Leo.

Kaithi 2 is the sequel to the 2019 movie Kaithi which starred Karthi in the lead and is the first movie set in the Lokesh Cinematic Universe.

Leo will hit theaters worldwide on 20 October 2023.
