Tiku Weds Sheru Trailer: Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Avneet Kaur’s jodi is refreshing in this highly promising rom com

When it was announced that the very versatile Nawazuddin Siddiqui will be sharing the screen with the extremely pretty Avneet Kaur, netizens were intrigued to know more. This was a jodi most fans never imagined. Well, the fresh pairing was also one reason why Kangana Ranaut’s Tiku Weds Sheru was one of the most anticipated films of the year. And now that the trailer is out, we can confirm that this jodi is refreshing and has definitely been successful in creating magic! But is Tiku Weds Sheru going to be a rom com worth watching? Here’s what we think.

The 2 minutes 26 seconds trailer begins with a brief introduction of Shiraz aka Sheru who works for a local don with a part time job of a junior artist in the film industry. His paths soon cross with Taslim aka Tiku, thanks to the concept of arranged marriage. For Tiku, Sheru is nothing but her ticket to freedom which she grabs with both her arms. Eventually they fall in love, with several twists and turns in their way. While Nawaz has wonderfully slipped into the character of Sheru like the versatile chameleon that he is, Avneet has beautifully breathed life into Tiku! Terrific job done by the talented actress.

So our answer to the previous question is-- yes, Tiku Weds Sheru is definitely going to be worth a watch by the looks of the trailer. Especially because it is taking the digital route by releasing on Amazon Prime Video on 23rd June. Netizens could not have agreed more with us. In the comment section below, one social media user shared, “looks so promising!! cannot wait to see it!!🔥🔥😍😍”, whereas another netizen wrote: “wow...complete masala comedy💕.” A third comment read: “Kangana Ranaut as an actor has been exceptional and they way she is uplifting young talent in this industry through her production is so fulfilling. She as an producer would be great in times to come❤<3.”

Now the question is-- would you have watched Tiku Weds Sheru if it was releasing in theatres?
