The Marvels - Checkout these five easter eggs you may have missed from the first teaser trailer

The first official teaser for the upcoming The Marvels has finally dropped and while the teaser is less than 2 minutes long it does have a few interesting references and easter eggs.

The upcoming sequel to 2019 Captain Marvel will see Carol Danvers team up with Ms. Marvel and Monica Rambeau aka Spectrum in order to find out the connection between their powers.

The MCU really needs a solid hit, with the mixed responses to Phase 4 and Phase 5's first movie Ant-Man 3's lukewarm reaction, Marvel Studios cannot afford failure.

And Hopefully, The Marvels is just what the MCU needs to get back into their original flow. The Marvels is directed by Nia DaCosta.

SABER Space Station

The Space station and the name SABER are new additions and it is clear that it is the new base of operations for Nick Fury, so most likely SABER is the new version of SWORD, which MCU fans found out was corrupt in the events of WandaVision.

The Kree

The Kree were first introduced in Guardians of the Galaxy Volume 1 and would also play a role in 2019's Captain Marvel.

The trailer makes it clear that our heroes will be facing off against the Kree empire or a rogue faction in the movie.

Park Seo-joon

A new addition to the movie is South Korean superstar Park Seo-Joon, who will be playing the ruler of a musical planet and has a rumored romantic history with Carol Danvers.

The actor is known for his roles in Itaewon Class, Fight for My Way, and What's Wrong with Secretary Kim. The Marvels marks his Hollywood debut.

Goose Returns

Goose, Captain Marvel's cat will also be returning in the sequel. Goose was really popular with MCU especially once people found out that he actually a Flerken taking the form of a cat.

We also catch a glimpse of a bunch of Flerken kittens in a quick scene, so it looks like Goose has been a busy guy.

Dar-Benn

The main antagonist of the movie and the person responsible for Captain Marvel and the rest of her team's powers acting weird is the Kree known as Dar-Benn.

Dar-Benn motivations are unknown but she does wield the hammer of Ronan the Accuser, the main antagonist of GOTG Vol 1 and who dies at the end of the movie.

The cast of the movie includes Brie Larson, Iman Vellani, Teyonah Parris, Samuel L. Jackson, Zawe Ashton, Park Seo-Joon, and Zenobia Shroff.

The Marvels will hit theaters on November 10, 2023.
