The latest single 'Ninaivirukka' from Silambarasan's upcoming gangster flick Pathu Thala is out

The second single from Silambarasan's Pathu Thala titled 'Ninaivirukka' is finally out. The song has met with positive reactions from fans.

The legendary A. R. Rahman is the composer of the movie. Ninaivirukka has been sung by A R Ameen and Shakthisree Gopalan with lyrics by Kabilan.

The first single from the movie titled 'Namma Satham' was released last month and received overwhelmingly positive reactions from fans and has over 12 million views on Youtube.

The song was sung by A.R. Rahman and Yogi Sekar with lyrics by Vivek. Pathu Thala is A.R. Rahman's fifth collaboration with Silambarasan, their last movie together was the superhit 'Vendhu Thanindhathu Kaadu'.

Pathu Thala is directed by Obeli N. Krishna. The movie is a gangster flick and Simbu will be sharing the big screen with Gautham Karthik and Priya Bhavani Shankar.

The movie is a remake of the 2017 Kannada movie Mufi, which starred Shiva Rajkumar and Sriimurali. The movie follows the journey of an undercover police officer and his mission to bring down a notorious crime boss.

Simbu is currently preparing for his next project STR 48, the movie will be Silambarasan's first collaboration with director Desingh Periyasamy. The movie is expected to begin filming soon and the project will have the actor play a double role.

The project is rumored to be a period drama and is said to have a budget of 100 crores making it one of the biggest projects in the actor's career.

The movie is produced by Kamal Haasan and the actor is rumored to have a cameo in the project.

The actor will also be teaming up with director Venkat Prabhu for a second time, the duo's last movie was the 2021 sci-fi thriller Maanaadu.

Meanwhile, Pathu Thala will be hitting theaters worldwide this month. The movie boasts of an ensemble cast that includes Gautham Karthik, Priya Bhavani Shankar, Teejay Arunasalam, Kalaiyarasan, and Redin Kingsley.

Pathu Thala will release on March 30, 2023
