The Greatest of All Time tickets leak online before official release: Thalapathy Vijay starrer set to dominate box office

In a surprising turn of events, advance bookings for Thalapathy Vijay's highly anticipated film, The Greatest of All Time, accidentally went live on online ticketing platforms this past Friday. The tickets became briefly available at Greenfield Moviemax Cinemas before the error was spotted and quickly rectified. Official bookings for the film are set to open on September 1.

The brief slip-up revealed that showtimes in Kerala will start as early as 4 AM, giving fans an early start to what is expected to be a massive box office hit. With no major Malayalam releases coinciding with the release date, The Greatest of All Time is poised to dominate the screens across Kerala.

Thalapathy Vijay's popularity in Kerala is unparalleled, often overshadowing even the biggest Malayalam stars on opening day. His fan base was in full display when he visited the state recently after more than a decade, attracting hundreds of fans daily who gathered to catch a glimpse of the star during the shooting of the film.

Vijay’s previous release, Leo, raked in over Rs 60 crore in Kerala alone, marking it as the biggest Tamil hit in the state to date. Industry insiders predict that The Greatest of All Time could surpass these figures and set a new benchmark for Tamil films at the Kerala box office.

The excitement isn’t just limited to Kerala. The film will also have early morning shows in neighbouring states like Karnataka, where screenings may start as early as 4 AM. Bookings for these shows are expected to open on Saturday.

In Tamil Nadu, the film will make history with its release on over 1,100 screens, although the first show won't start before 9 AM.
