The Greatest of All Time clears censor with U/A certificate; runtime of Vijay-starrer revealed
With less than a month to go before its grand theatrical release, Vijay's The GOAT has finally cleared its censor formalities.

The most anticipated sci-fi action thriller The Greatest of All Time has completed its censor formalities. The production company behind the Vijay-starrer, AGS Cinema, took to social media to announce that the film has received a U/A certification from the CBFC.
According to reports, the runtime for The Greatest of All Time is set at 2 hours and 55 minutes, with a 3-minute making-of video to be showcased at the end.
Sharing the exciting news about the film’s completion of its censor formalities, the makers released a striking poster of Thalapathy Vijay from the movie. The new poster features the actor seated against a red backdrop with bullet holes. Vijay, looking dashing, is holding a gun in a swag pose. Fans have loved the new poster and are eagerly awaiting the release of their superstar's much-anticipated film.

As reported earlier, The GOAT revolves around a special intelligence group named SATS - Special Anti-Terrorist Squad. Director Venkat Prabhu revealed that Vijay’s squad includes Prashanth, Prabhu Deva, and Ajmal Ameer. He stated, "The G.O.A.T is a fictional story, but we have tried to make it as close to reality as possible. It's about the SATS - Special Anti-Terrorist Squad - who work in collaboration with the RAW organization." He also added that the film takes a dramatic turn when some members of the group make decisions that lead to future challenges. "The central theme of the movie is how they confront and overcome this challenge," the director revealed. Mic Mohan serves as the primary antagonist in this film.

The Greatest of All Time
Directed by Venkat Prabhu, The Greatest of All Time marks the first collaboration between the actor-director duo. The film also features Mohan, Prashanth, Sneha, Laila, Meenakshi Chaudhary, Jayaram, Yogi Babu, VTV Ganesh, Vaibhav, Premgi Amaren, Aravind Akash, and Ajmal Ameer. The music for the film is composed by Yuvan Shankar Raja, with Siddhartha Nuni serving as the cinematographer.
The Greatest of All Time is slated for release on September 5, 2024.
