The GOAT update: The second single from Vijay's film to be released soon!

After a long gap, here’s a major update for Thalapathy fans! Ahead of Vijay’s 50th birthday on June 22, the makers of his upcoming sci-fi action thriller, The Greatest of All Time (GOAT), are all set to release the second single from the film. 

The filmmakers took to social media to announce that a romantic track titled ‘Chinna Chinna Kangal’ has been scheduled to be released on Thalapathy’s birthday on June 22. “Oru Chinna Treat! #TheGoatSecondSingle #ChinnaChinnaKangal is releasing tomorrow at 6 PM. Yes!! Indha paadalai paadiyavar…@actorvijay Sir.”

Yes, you read that right—the romantic track has been crooned by none other than the Thalapathy himself!

Chinna Chinna Kangal: Who is Vijay’s love interest?

Composed by Yuvan Shankar Raja, the second single’s announcement poster showcases Vijay along with a child and woman. The new poster has grabbed the attention of fans who are not sure who the woman beside Vijay is in the poster.

While the film has multiple female leads, popular sources reveal that Sneha has been paired with Vijay’s older version. It looks like the new romantic track is set to take us through the beautiful chemistry between Sneha and Vijay’s characters. It is interesting to note that the two actors last shared screen space as love interests in the 2003 Tamil film Vaseegara. 

About The Greatest of All Time

After several months of filming, Thalapathy Vijay’s The Greatest of All Time recently completed production and is now in the post-production stage. The film is scheduled for a grand worldwide release on September 5, 2024.

Vijay plays dual roles in the movie, playing both a man and his son. For the uninitiated, Vijay will take on the characters of a 50-year-old and a 19-year-old in the Venkat Prabhu directorial. 

The film has an impressive ensemble cast that includes Mohan, Prashanth, Sneha, Laila, Meenakshi Chaudhary, Jayaram, Yogi Babu, VTV Ganesh, Vaibhav, Premgi Amaren, Aravind Akash, and Ajmal Ameer. The music for the film has been composed by Yuvan Shankar Raja, with Siddhartha Nuni as the cinematographer.
