The Flash crew shirt reveals the main villain of the upcoming superhero flick
A picture of a crew member from the sets of The Flash seems to have revealed who the scarlet speedster will be facing off against in the movie.
Eagle-eyed fans of The Flash seem to have decoded who the villain of Ezra Miller's upcoming superhero outing is going to be based simply on the t-shirt by one of the crew members of the project.
The picture on the now-viral t-shirt features three characters from the movie. The first two being Supergirl and Batman the third and most prominent one being Reverse-Flash. The sneak peek for the movie showed Barry Allen with different versions of himself so it won't be unlikely that he would be facing off against his most iconic villain.
And since the movie will follow the Flashpoint comic storyline, in which the Reverse Flash is the main villain it won't be a stretch to introduce him into the DCEU through the movie.
For the uninitiated, The Reverse Flash aka Eobard Thawne is a fan of The Flash from the 25th century who successfully recreated the experiment that gave Barry Allen his powers. However, in the process, he slowly starts to lose his mind and becomes obsessed with killing and replacing Barry as The Flash.
The Reverse-Flash was a prominent feature in the live-action Flash TV show played by Tom Cavanagh and was well received by fans. Now, at this point we don't know who will be playing the role in the movie but they do have some big shoes to fill.
Hopefully, we will get to know more later this year when we finally get a trailer for the movie as DC is currently concentrating on the marketing for the upcoming Black Adam movie starring Dwyane Johnson in the lead which will hit theaters in July.
The Flash is already said to have a large number of cameos from other superheroes and villains as it will introduce the concept of the multiverse in the DCEU. The movie is directed by Andy Muschietti and will hit theaters on November 4, 2022.
