Since Matt Revees dropped the deleted scene featuring The Joker, the internet is buzzing with theories and reactions from fans, with most praising Barry Keoghan's performance and hoping to see more of him in the sequel
Actor Barry Keoghan has been introduced as the new Joker in the Matt Reeves' The Batman . While fans didn't get a proper introduction with the character in the film, a new deleted clip shared online is creating a lot of buzz with the Irish actor being hailed for his portrayal.
The five-minute long-deleted seen which sees Batman in Arkham Asylum asking the Joker for help to catch the Riddler while initially Joker is amused, he takes a look at the evidence presented by Batman.
He reveals that Riddler's motivations are personal and proceeds to mock Batman for not catching him, in the final cut of the movie we have a small and unseen cameo by the Joker.
It seems that Matt Reeves cut the scene to reduce the runtime of the movie. While fans did not get a chance to see this new version of the clown prince of crime on the big screen, they were more than happy now that the cut footage is out.
The internet is buzzing with fans trying to figure out exactly what Joker and Batman are saying to each other as the audio is distorted and the clip has no subtitles with one fan going as far as creating a transcript for it.
Fans are also in awe of Barry Keoghan's performance with many saying that it has to be one of the best interaction's between Batman and the Joker in recent years.
Of course, there are many comparison's Heath Ledger's Joker from the Dark Knight but these should be seen as a complement after all the actor did win an Oscar for his role.

Hopefully, we will get to see more of the Joker in the sequel, until then fans can hope to see more of the clown prince of crime in the upcoming spinoff series for the movie focusing on Arkham Asylum.
The Batman has grossed over 600 million worldwide and is currently running in theaters.
