The Archies song Sunoh: Suhana Khan rolls around on skates, Khushi Kapoor cycles her way in Riverdale

The cast of Zoya Akhtar’s The Archies including Suhana Khan, Agastya Nanda, Khushi Kapoor, Dot, Mihir Ahuja, Vedang Raina and Yuvraj Menda launched the first song Sunoh on Thursday. The upbeat song is set at the picturesque location of Riverdale, a small hill town.Over two-minute-long song gives a sneak peek into all the seven characters and their life in the town.
Taking to Instagram, the director Zoya Akhtar shared the song with the caption, “This is my story, #Sunoh!You can’t ignore me, sunoh! ♥️First song from #TheArchies out now!” In the short clip, Suhana as Veronica, could be seen moving around the place in skates while Betty aka Khushi strolls around in a bicycle. Agastya as Archie croons beautifully with his band member Jughead aka Mihir Ahuja. On the other hand, Vedang as Reggie flirts around, Dot as Ether is busy at work and Yuvraj as Dilton fixes his radio. Watch the video here:
Sunoh has been sung by Tejas, Shivam Mahadevan, Dot and composed by Ankur Tewari and The Islanders. Javed Akhtar has written the lyrics. Several netizens reacted to the music video and praised Suhana Khan. “Suhana Khan is undoubtedly coming to make her mark on the industry! She is literally on fire in The Archies and the song Sunoh,” wrote a user. “Suhana Khan is going to kill with her masterclass performance,” added another user.
Talking about the song, Zoya said,“This song is the introduction to the world and characters. It is the first song done by Ankur Tiwari and the song is reminiscent of the rock and roll era. The song captures a sense of idealism, rebelism, and ‘we can capture the world’ vibe.” She was speaking to Bollywood Hungama at the song launch. Written by Zoya, Reema Kagti, and Ayesha Devitre Dhillon, the film is based on the eponymous American comic book series of the same name. The film is set to arrive on OTT giant Netflix on December 7, 2023.
