Vikram’s latest Tamil film Thangalaan, which was released in Hindi on September 6, 2024, has received rave reviews from Hindi-speaking audiences. The film, headlined by Vikram, Parvathy, and Malavika Mohanan, is directed by Pa Ranjith. Set against the backdrop of the Kolar Gold Mines, the story focuses on the exploitation of tribal communities when the British take control of their land.
