The GOAT is expected to have a record-breaking opening at the box office. With the largest screen count in history and starring one of the industry's biggest stars, the film has the potential to achieve the highest opening ever seen in Tamil cinema. If the Venkat Prabhu-directed film receives positive reviews, it could also become one of the highest-grossing films of all time in the industry.

De-ageing technology used in The GOAT

Directed by Venkat Prabhu, The Greatest of All Time marks the first collaboration between Vijay and the director. The film reportedly uses digital de-ageing technology to portray Vijay in the dual roles of father and son. It is said that the team invested a whopping Rs 6 crore in the de-ageing process.

In addition to Thalapathy Vijay, the film features a stellar cast including Mohan, Prashanth, Prabhu Deva, Jayaram, Laila, Sneha, Meenakshi Chaudhary, Yogi Babu, VTV Ganesh, Vaibhav, Premgi Amaran, Aravind Akash, and Ajmal Ameer. The original score and songs are composed by Yuvan Shankar Raja, and Siddhartha Nuni is handling the cinematography. The film is produced by AGS Entertainment.
