Producer KE Gnanavel Raja has promised the audience that his upcoming production Kanguva will be unlike anything they have experienced on Indian celluloid. He noted that Kanguva, which stars Tamil superstar Suriya in the lead role, will not share any similarities with previous blockbusters.

"The entire world of Kanguva is different. It will not be connected to any other film. It will not be a Baahubali, KGF, or anything we have seen on the big screen. Siva has created a completely new world, and it will be new to audiences," producer Gnanavel Raja said in a recent interview.

Written and directed by Siva, Kanguva is a fantasy drama that reportedly travels 600 years back and forth. Suriya sports a double look: one as a medieval warlord and another as a stylish modern-day man.

"You have seen Suriya in Singam and Ayan; he would have played those roles with great energy. In Kanguva, his energy will be 10X compared to his previous films," he added.

Gnanavel noted that despite the mounting costs, he didn't rush director Siva to finish the movie. He revealed that given Kanguva was completely uncharted territory for Siva, he didn't want to put the director under pressure by setting a deadline.

The producer demonstrated great confidence in Kanguva and its potential to connect with audiences worldwide. The filmmakers have a grand release plan for the magnum opus, which is believed to be the costliest film in Suriya's career. The film will be dubbed in 10 languages, including foreign languages, and will be released simultaneously.

Kanguva is now in post-production. The filmmakers have confirmed that the movie will arrive in cinemas on October 10.
