Suriya may be joining hands with Sita Ramam director Hanu Raghavapudi for his next project
This project could be another great addition to Suriya's 2023 lineup.

According to a new report, Suriya may be collaborating with director Hanu Raghavapudi on a pan-Indian project this year.
Hanu Radhavapudi's last movie was the critically and commercially successful Sita Ramam , which starred Dulquer Salmaan, Mrunal Thakur, and Rashmika Mandanna in the lead.
The movie grossed around 100 cries at the box office and went on to become the ninth highest-grossing Telugu movie of 2022.
Meanhwile star of Sita Ramam, Mrunal Thakur will be making her big Tamil debut in Suriya 42 . The movie is an epic period drama which is directed by Siva, marking the first collaboration between Surya and the director.
Suriay 42 has managed to collect around 500 crores in pre-release business beating out Thalapathy Vijay's Leo, the third installment in the Lokesh Cinematic Universe after Kaithi and Vikram.
According to a report almost 60% of Suriya 42 has been completed and the next schedule is expected to start in March of this year.
The movie will also be the first on-screen pairing of Suriya with popular Bollywood actress Disha Patani, recently Siva revealed that Suriya will be sporting 13 unique looks in the movie.
The movie is a period drama and Suriya will be playing the role of five different characters in the movie. This will beat the actor's previous record of 10 different looks which he set in his 2009 movie 'Ayan'.
Suriya 42 is produced by K. E. Gnanavel Raja under the banner Studio Green, in association with UV Creations. The movie will be released in 10 languages.
The Hindi remake rights along with the satellite, digital, and theatre distribution rights for the movie’s Hindi version were brought by producer Jayantilal Gada.
The music for the movie is being helmed by Devi Sri Prasad, Cinmetogrohy by Vetri Palanisamy, and finally, the editing will be done by Nishadh Yusuf.
The cast of the movie includes Suriya, Disha Patani, Mrunal Thakur, Yogi Babu, Kovai Sarala, Redin Kingsley, and Anandraj.
