Suriya 45 ANNOUNCED: Makers unveil an exhilarating poster of Suriya and RJ Balaji's film

It's official! Comedian-turned-filmmaker RJ Balaji is all set to helm Tamil star Suriya’s 45th project, tentatively titled Suriya 45. The makers, who had been teasing an announcement, officially took to social media to unveil the poster, confirming that Suriya 45 will be directed by RJ Balaji in their maiden collaboration.

The poster also announced that Academy Award-winning music director AR Rahman has been brought on board to compose the original background score and soundtracks for the film.

Sharing the new poster, the makers wrote, "We proudly announce #Suriya45 – a groundbreaking collaboration featuring the versatile @Suriya_offl, the musical legend @arrahman, and the talented @RJ_Balaji. A powerful journey begins!" The poster features a white horse surrounded by several swords, each adorned with a tilak. At first glance, the film seems to have mythological elements, and fans are eagerly anticipating this new collaboration. Check out the new post here:

Interestingly, Suriya and composer AR Rahman are reuniting after a nine-year hiatus. The duo previously collaborated on Suriya’s 2016 film 24.

Written and directed by RJ Balaji, Suriya 45 marks his first directorial collaboration with Tamil actor Suriya. The two had previously shared screen space in the film Thaanaa Serndha Koottam. The project is produced by SR Prabhu under the banner of Dream Warrior Pictures.

RJ Balaji had recently hinted at being involved in a major project during his podcast, revealing that he and his team have been working on something significant. Notably, he had previously pitched a story idea to Vijay, though that project did not come to fruition. Now, we will have to wait and see if his upcoming film with Suriya is based on the same story he shared with Vijay or if it’s a completely new script.
