Suraj Venjaramoodu and Aamir Pallikkal film titled Extra Decent, check out the latest poster

Earlier, we had reported that Malayalam actor Suraj Venjaramoodu and Aisha-fame director Aamir Pallikkal will be collaborating on a new project. The makers have now taken to the official handles on social media to announce the title of the film. The movie is now titled Extra Decent (or ED). Check out the new title poster here!

Director Aamir Pallikal is best known for his directorial debut with Manju Warrier-starrer biographical film Ayisha. The director is now all set to helm Suraj in his upcoming film.

More details about the film’s genre and story are expected to be unveiled soon. According to reports, the film is scheduled to have a December 2024 release, probably during Christmas. Although the makers are yet to reveal vital details, the movie is expected to be an out-and-out comedy entertainer. With Suraj leading the film, fans can expect a great entertaining drama very soon!

Produced by Listin Stephen under Magic Frames and Suraj Venjaramoodu in their joint venture, the movie began filming at Mookambika Temple in May. The makers had earlier shared the pics of the puja ceremony. Senior actress Vinaya Prasad and Grace Antony were also present on the sets, indicating that the actresses will be playing pivotal roles in the film. Besides them, actor Shyam Mohan of Premalu fame and Sudheer Karamana were also present at the sets.

On the technical front, the film has a screenplay penned by Ashif Kakkodi. The camera work is handled by Sharon Sreenivas, while Sreejith Sarang serves as the editor. Guruvayoor Ambalanadayil-fame music composer Ankit Menon will be composing the original soundtrack and background music for the film.

Suraj’s other projects

On the other hand, Suraj Venjaramoodu’s latest outing Grrr was released on June 14, 2024. Next, the actor will be seen in Biju Menon-starrer Nadanna Sambhavam and Dileep-starrer Professor Dinkan 3D. He will also be seen in Asif Ali-starrer Adios Amigo, which is directed by debutant Nahas Nazar. Suraj will also be making his OTT debut with the upcoming web series titled Nagendran's Honeymoons.
