Sorgavaasal OTT release date: When and where to stream RJ Balaji’s jailbreak thriller

After mesmerizing audiences and keeping them on the edge of their seats in theatres, RJ Balaji’s latest Tamil prison break thriller Sorgavaasal has finally locked its OTT release date. Directed by debutant Siddharth Vishwanath, the film revolves around a convict and how his experiences in prison transform him, leading to chaos.

As announced earlier, Netflix has purchased the digital rights to the film and has revealed that it will be released on December 27, 2024. Sharing the news on their social media handles, the OTT platform wrote, “Naraga vaasal la Yeman. Sorgavaasal la Parthiban. Puriyala? December 27 anniku, Sorgavaasal thorakkudhu. Paakalama? The film is co-written by Thamizh Praba, Ashwin Ravichandran, and Siddharth Vishwanath, and features an ensemble cast including RJ Balaji, Selvaraghavan, Natty, Karunaas, Saniya Iyappan, Sharaf-U-Dheen, Hakkim Shah, Balaji Sakthivel, Anthonythasan, Ravi Raghavendra, and Samuel Robinson.

Prior to the theatrical release of the film, RJ Balaji credited the producer for securing the OTT rights, emphasizing the producer's strategic planning.
