Basil Joseph and Nazriya’s latest mystery thriller Sookshmadarshini has been making waves at the box office, receiving rave reviews from Malayalee and non-Malayalee audiences alike. According to industry tracker Sacnilk, Sookshmadarshini opened to impressive numbers and has now collected over ₹10 crores in just two days. The film minted around ₹4.1 crores on day 1 and approximately ₹6 crores on day 2, bringing its total collection to close to ₹10.1 crores. So far, the day 3 predictions stands at ₹1.75 crores, hinting at the film securing strong numbers by the end of the weekend.

Basil Joseph calls Nazriya the most comfortable co-star

Basil Joseph and Nazriya’s on-screen chemistry has been drawing a lot of attention from fans, who are enjoying the duo’s antics both on and off-screen. Following the positive reception the film and the lead actors’ performances have been receiving, leading man Basil Joseph shared his experience working with Nazriya on set.

He revealed that the sets were often filled with banter and humorous interactions. Calling Nazriya the most comfortable co-star he has worked with, Basil said, “I met Nazriya for the first time on the set of Sookshmadarshini. It’s the most comfortable I have felt working with a co-actor. Going to the set did not feel like ‘work’ during the shooting of Sookshmadarshini. I went to sets every day thinking of ways to prank her and defend myself.”
