As announced earlier, Nazriya Nazim and Basil Joseph’s upcoming film Sookshma Darshini is set to hit the big screens this year. In a delightful Onam surprise, the makers of the movie took to their social media pages to share the first motion poster of the film. “Welcome to the world of Sookshma Darshini …. Happy Onam, everybody!!!” the makers wrote.

The new motion poster features an intriguing Basil Joseph in an eerie forest setting, while Nazriya gazes intensely through a magnifying glass. The motion poster, which invites fans into their world, has excited everyone as we eagerly await the unraveling of this mysterious drama. Earlier, the makers had released behind-the-scenes photos and videos from the film’s final day of shooting.

Directed by MC Jithin, Sookshma Darshini also marks Nazriya’s return to Mollywood after a four-year hiatus. She was last seen in the Fahadh Faasil-starrer Trance in 2020.

All about Sookshma Darshini

Directed by filmmaker MC Jithin, known for Nonsense (2018), the upcoming film promises to deliver a blend of comedy and mystery, ensuring a fun-filled drama. This film also marks the first collaboration between the leading pair. In addition to the lead cast, the movie features Deepak Parambol, Siddharth Bharathan, Merrin Philp, Akhila Bhargavan, Pooja Mohanraj, Kottayam Ramesh, Gopan Mangat, Manohari Joy, Rini Udayakumar, Jaya Kurup, Aparna Ram, Abhiram Poduval, and Mirza Fathia in prominent roles.

The technical team includes Jithin, Athul Ramachandran, and Libin TB, who have worked together on the screenplay. Sharan Velayudhan is responsible for cinematography, while Chaman Chacko handles editing. Christo Xavier is composing the original background score and soundtracks for the film. Sookshma Darshini is produced by Sameer Thahir, Shyju Khalid, and A V Anoop under the banners of Happy Hours Entertainments and AVA Productions.
