SK 23 welcomes Vikranth onboard! Makers unveil stylish poster from Sivakarthikeyan-starrer

After Vidyut Jammwal, another actor has joined the cast of Sivakarthikeyan and AR Murugadoss’ upcoming film SK 23. The makers of the film took to their official handles to welcome Tamil actor Vikranth onboard. “Joining forces in our action ride. Welcoming the bundle of talent, @vikranth_offl onboard for #SKxARM. Shoot in progress, in full swing!” the makers wrote. 

Along with the announcement, the makers also shared an intriguing and stylish poster of the actor from the film. The poster features Vikranth holding a gun and trying to pull the trigger, in an intense avatar. This new announcement came as a surprise, and fans are thrilled with the update. The makers are expected to release details of the other cast members very soon.

Other speculated cast members of SK 23

So far, only Sivakarthikeyan, Kannada actress Rukmini Vasanth, Vikranth, and Vidyut Jammwal are confirmed to be part of the upcoming film. However, a few sources suggest that Malayalam superstar Mohanlal is also likely to make an appearance in the Sivakarthikeyan-starrer. Although an official announcement is awaited, rumors suggest that the Lucifer actor will play a key role in the film.

In addition to Mohanlal, Malayalam actor Biju Menon is also rumored to have been approached for a role in the film. Biju Menon has appeared in Tamil films before and was last seen in the Kishore-starrer Porkkalam in 2010. If the rumors are true, SK 23 will mark the Malayalam actor's return to Kollywood after a 14-year hiatus.

All about SK 23

Billed as an action thriller, Sivakarthikeyan will be seen in a different look and has reportedly undergone a massive physical transformation for his role. The makers have been tight-lipped about sharing key details of the film, choosing instead to tease audiences with surprise announcements. Fans are keen to know the title of the film, which is yet to be disclosed. According to the makers, the shooting is in full swing and the film is speculated to have a Diwali 2024 release. Anirudh Ravichander has been roped in to score the music for the film.
