SK 23 welcomes Vidyut Jammwal onboard! Check out the stylish video from the sets of AR Murugadoss and Sivakarthikeyan's film

It's official! The makers of Sivakarthikeyan and AR Murugadoss’ upcoming film SK 23 (tentative title) have finally welcomed Bollywood action star Vidyut Jammwal into the project. The makers of the film took to their social media handles to share an explosive onboarding video of the actor, where he is seen getting out of his vanity van in his signature stylish avatar. The actor is seen greeting director AR Murugadoss, and then the actor-director duo is seen discussing the filming portions of the set.  

Vidyut Jammwal joins SK 23

On social media, the makers wrote, “Bringing back the villain who terrorized one and all. Welcoming the menacing @VidyutJammwal on board for #SKxARM.” For the unversed, Vidyut Jammwal starred as the antagonist in AR Murugadoss and Vijay’s action thriller Thuppakki. His role as the leader of a sleeper cell earned him critical acclaim. SK 23 will mark his second collaboration with the popular Tamil filmmaker. Interestingly, SK 23 will also mark the actor’s return to Tamil cinema after a 10-year hiatus. The actor’s last Tamil movie appearance was in the Suriya-starrer Anjaan.

SK 23 - Interesting star cast

So far, only Sivakarthikeyan, Kannada actress Rukmini Vasanth, and Vidyut Jammwal are known to be part of the upcoming film. However, a few reports suggest that Malayalam superstar Mohanlal is also likely to make an appearance in the Sivakarthikeyan-starrer. Although an official announcement is awaited, the buzz suggests that the Lucifer actor will be playing a crucial role in the film. It looks like AR Murugadoss is planning to go pan-India with his next!

SK 23 – action flick?

Touted to be a complete action flick, Sivakarthikeyan in the film is set to undergo a massive physical transformation. The makers have been tight-lipped about sharing the key details of the film, choosing instead to tease audiences with surprise announcements. However, fans are keen to know about the title of the film, which is yet to be disclosed. Currently in its production stage, the makers are eyeing a Diwali release. Anirudh Ravichander has been roped in to score music for the film.
