Actor-filmmaker SJ Suryah is in a league of his own. He's peerless and seems to be enjoying one of the most rewarding phases of his career. Even as he's basking in the success of his recent movie Raayan, Suryah's look from his next movie, Love Insurance Kompany, was unveiled on Saturday.

The poster reveals a dapper-looking Suryah sitting on top of a skyscraper. The highlight of the poster is its futuristic setup, complete with swanky high-rises and flying taxis, but the mobile phones don't seem to have evolved. People still stay glued to their mobile screens, walking past each other without paying attention to their surroundings.

Love Insurance Kompany was earlier titled Love Insurance Company, short for LIC. According to reports, the filmmakers faced pressure to change the title, fearing it could hurt the image of LIC, which is the Life Insurance Corporation of India, a massive public sector undertaking owned by the Government of India.

Writer-director Vignesh Shivan played it smart and just changed the spelling of the title, sidestepping any legal problems that may arise due to it.

Suryah has also co-written Love Insurance Kompany along with Vignesh and Pradeep Ranganathan. Pradeep plays the protagonist in what is billed as a comedy-drama that seems to deal with elements of time travel. At the moment, we don't have a lot of information about the movie's plot.

Love Insurance Kompany also stars Krithi Shetty, Yogi Babu, Mysskin, and Seeman.

Vignesh was supposed to helm a movie with Tamil superstar Ajith Kumar. However, Lyca Productions fired Vignesh and hired a new director to make a movie with Ajith, giving Vignesh a serious career setback.

Vignesh later joined hands with Pradeep to make this romantic comedy, a genre he seems to be well-versed in within Tamil cinema.
