Sivakarthikeyan reacts to Amaran reviews, urges parents to show this film to kids
Sivakarthikeyan’s tribute to Major Mukund Varadarajan in Amaran has not only opened to an enthusiastic box office reception but also received high praise from Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin.
Amaran
After extensively promoting his latest movie Amaran across the world, Sivakarthikeyan watched the first-day, first show in theatres alongside his fans. The movie opened to a rousing response at the box office, signalling a potentially successful run.
Sivakarthikeyan also expressed his gratitude to Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin for taking the time to watch the film. "The Chief Minister praised everyone’s performance in the movie. He said it left him emotional and told me he wanted to watch it because it was a tribute to a great soldier," Sivakarthikeyan told the media.
Stalin shared high praise for Amaran in a social media post, stating, "I watched Amaran yesterday after accepting the invitation of my friend @ikamalhaasan. It’s wonderful to bring true stories to today’s youth through books and movies! Director @Rajkumar_KP has emotionally captured the bravery and dedication of Tamil Nadu’s army veteran Major Mukund Varadarajan. Congratulations to the crew, including Thambi @Siva_Kartikeyan, @Sai_Pallavi92, and all involved in Amaran for portraying Indu Rebecca Varghese's role so well! A big salute to our soldiers who protect the country - Major Mukund Varadarajan lives on in our memory!"
Sivakarthikeyan believes Major Mukund Varadarajan’s story has the power to inspire young minds. "It’s a very inspiring story and a big tribute," he said. "I never doubted how this film would be received by the public because a man truly lived this life. There’s no question of whether such things can happen. I think every child should watch this. We tell them many superhero stories, but they’re all fictional. Here, a real superhero from Tamil Nadu went to Kashmir and achieved such greatness. I believe this movie will have an impact on children."
