While promoting his highly anticipated film Amaran in Malaysia, Sivakarthikeyan took a moment to reflect on his long-standing rapport with co-star Sai Pallavi and director Rajkumar Periasamy. Sharing anecdotes from their early careers, he lauded Pallavi’s talent and spoke about how their shared history created an easy working dynamic on the set of Amaran.

"We had only a few combination scenes in the movie," Sivakarthikeyan revealed. "Actually, Rajkumar Periasamy is the director of Ungalil Yaar Adutha Prabhu Deva, where Sai Pallavi was a participant. He also directed all my shows on Vijay TV. We've known each other for many years now." Recalling their early days, he added, "When I did an event in Coimbatore, I hosted it, he directed it, and she performed in it. We all came from the same place, so it was very easy to work in this film."

Sivakarthikeyan expressed excitement about reuniting with Sai Pallavi on this project, noting her impressive acting skills. "I was thrilled to work with her because I knew what an amazing performer she was. I got to observe closely how she approached a scene. It was a great learning experience."

The cast and crew of Amaran have been busy promoting the film as it gears up for its big release on October 31, coinciding with Diwali. Directed by Rajkumar Periasamy and produced by Kamal Haasan’s Raaja Kamal Films International, the movie is poised to be a major milestone for everyone involved.

In Amaran, Sivakarthikeyan plays Major Mukund Varadarajan, an army officer involved in high-risk anti-terror operations in Jammu and Kashmir. Sai Pallavi portrays Indhu Rebecca Varghese, the wife of Major Mukund. The recently released promo featuring Pallavi's character has garnered significant attention, as it suggests that her role will bring emotional depth to the film, which otherwise focuses on intense action sequences.
