Singham Again: Akshay Kumar introduces Tiger Shroff as ACP Satya, says 'my brother from another mother'

Much to fans’ delight, Rohit Shetty’s cop universe is getting bigger and more exciting. As the filmmaker has already roped in B-town biggies including Akshay Kumar, Ajay Devgn, Deepika Padukone, Kareena Kapoor Khan and Ranveer Singh in the upcoming Singham Again. Tiger Shroff is the latest addition to the franchise. On Thursday, Akshay took to his Instagram handle and welcomed the actor with a special note.

Sharing several photos of Tiger, Akshay wrote, “Welcoming my brother from another mother, @tigerjackieshroff as ACP Satya to the squad!#SinghamAgain.” In the photos, Tiger could be seen flaunting her chiseled body in a police uniform as he is set to play ACP Satya in the upcoming cop drama. As soon as the post surfaced, while some of the social media users expressed excitement, the major section of people felt the franchise would no longer be fun with addition of so many stars.

A user said, “and this is how you ruin a popular franchise.” Another person commented, “Kisi ko bhi le rahe hain ab singham mein. Meanwhile, Rohit Shetty earlier introduced Deepika Padukone as Shakti Shetty on the pious occasion of Navratri’s first day. For the unversed, Rohit Shetty’s cop universe began with Singham starring Ajay Devgn. Then the filmmaker brought Simmba with Ranveer Singh as a police officer. Sooryavanshi starring Akshay Kumar as an ATS officer, was the fourth film in the cop universe. The upcoming Singham Agan is set for 2024 release.
